Crisis information
One Pulse United is not an emergency department, mobile crisis team, or 24/7 crisis service. Use immediate emergency and crisis resources when the need cannot safely wait.
Call 911
Use emergency services for immediate danger, active violence, life-threatening overdose, severe medical emergency, or a situation requiring immediate law-enforcement, fire, or EMS response.
Call or text 988
The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline can provide crisis support and help connect callers to local response options.
Ask about mobile response
Ohio’s youth crisis system includes Mobile Response and Stabilization Services. The active local pathway should be confirmed through 988 or the youth’s existing OhioRISE/CME/MCO team.
Overdose and return-to-use response
- Call 911 for suspected overdose.
- Administer naloxone when available and trained to do so.
- Stay with the person and follow dispatcher instructions.
- Do not delay emergency action to complete intake, consent, audit, or billing paperwork.
- After immediate safety, complete clinical reassessment, treatment-plan review, naloxone education, medication-treatment coordination, and follow-up as applicable.
Medication for addiction treatment is care.
No participant should be shamed, excluded, or labeled “not really sober” for using prescribed buprenorphine, methadone, naltrexone, or another evidence-based medication. Medication decisions belong to the participant and qualified prescriber.
Do not submit crisis information through ordinary email. If you cannot keep yourself or someone else safe, call 911 or 988 now.
