Who we are

The Cincinnati expansion carries the original One Pulse heartbeat into a more disciplined clinical and community system.

One Pulse United began with family reunification, life coaching, peer connection, essential resources, personal development, workforce preparation, and the belief that people can rebuild after addiction and incarceration.

Mission

Rebuild lives and strengthen families.

One Pulse United is dedicated to rebuilding lives by providing family reunification, life coaching, essential resources, and structured support for people in recovery and those reentering society—while developing lawful clinical services where authorized.

Vision

People are supported to thrive, not merely survive the transition.

We envision individuals recovering from addiction or returning from incarceration becoming empowered, connected to family and community, and equipped to participate meaningfully in life.

Promise

A steady pulse of hope, resilience, and accountable action.

We bring compassion into contact with structure so encouragement becomes a plan, the plan becomes action, and action becomes evidence of change.

Ericka Settles

The official One Pulse United site describes Ericka as a multifaceted leader whose work spans authorship, chemical-dependency counseling, art, speaking, and transformational coaching. Across those roles, the common thread is personal growth: helping people understand that recovery and change are built through both insight and disciplined action.

Her artistic work explores the complexity of the human experience, while her coaching and speaking focus on confidence, resilience, purpose, and the capacity to become more than the chapter that brought someone to the door. She is also a wife and mother whose family identity informs One Pulse United’s emphasis on reunification, parenting, youth empowerment, and multigenerational healing.

The Cincinnati build translates that founder story into an accountable operating architecture: clear clinical boundaries, role-specific competence, measurable outcomes, completed handoffs, and community programs that can retain their humanity without being mislabeled as treatment.

“Empowering Families and Communities, One Beat at a Time.”

The phrase is not decoration. It is the test: whether each program strengthens a person, a family, or a community in a way that can be seen, followed, and sustained.

Our non-negotiables

What must remain true as the program grows

Safety and dignity

No high-risk person without an identified owner and next step.

Truthful public claims

No service, accreditation, payer, location, staffing, outcome, or partnership claim beyond current evidence.

Clinical integrity

No billing without defensible medical necessity, qualified staff, correct records, and service evidence.

Protected lanes

No commingling of clinical, community, workforce, employment, partner, or governance authority.

Cincinnati is not a branch office with a new sign.

It is a place-based operating system that must earn trust through clarity, consistency, completed handoffs, and visible service status.
