Cognitive Renovations initiative

Family connection deserves practical support.

The Resilient Families Recovery Hub is described in the partner’s materials as a bridge between clinical treatment and independent living, with an emphasis on stronger family bonds and communication.

Rebuild the connection—not just the calendar.

Cognitive Renovations’ home materials describe family education using Creating Lasting Family Connections (CLFC), with attention to communication, trust, and a stronger support system.

The services materials also describe practical participation supports, including rides and family meals. Contact Cognitive Renovations to confirm whether any particular support is available and under what conditions.

Questions for the family conversation

What would meaningful support look like?

What does the family want to understand or practice? Who wants to participate? What would make it easier to attend? What privacy boundaries need to be clear?

Ask whether the activity is family education, peer support, or a regulated clinical service. These are not interchangeable simply because they happen in the same community.

Participation remains a choice. Being a relative does not automatically give someone access to another person’s records. Information sharing is discussed through the responsible provider’s approved process.
