Hours matter. The quality inside the hours matters more.

| Practicum | At least 100 hours over a full academic term, including at least 40 direct-service hours, subject to the partner university’s approval. |
| Internship | At least 600 hours after practicum, including at least 240 direct-service hours, subject to the partner university’s approval. |
| Individual / triadic supervision | Average of one hour each week from a qualified site supervisor. |
| Group supervision | Average of 1.5 hours weekly through the university program’s approved structure. |
| Direct observation | Live observation or secure recording under consent, privacy, university and site rules. |
| Evaluation | Formative and summative competency and professional-disposition review. |

Pre-placement readiness
Eligibility, liability coverage, background requirements, trainee status where applicable, common core and baseline competency.

Deliberate match
Specialty, population, developmental need, learning style, supervisor approach, schedule and site capacity.

Simulation and observation
Mock assessment, treatment planning, progress notes, risk, ethics, group work and observation of competent practice.

Guided clinical work
Controlled assignments, weekly supervision, direct observation, documentation review and case conference.

Midterm review
Competency, dispositions, hours, direct-service mix, match quality, risk and remediation.

Final portfolio
Hour record, evaluations, observations, work samples, capstone, site feedback and career plan.
University authority
The Institute supports fieldwork. It does not become the degree program.
The university retains course enrollment, faculty group supervision, grading, curricular authority, student retention, academic remediation, dismissal and final site/supervisor approval. The host provider retains client care, EHR, service authorization, billing, emergency response and clinical operations.
